 Walkathon -

Praise God for a gorgeous day and the wonderful fellowship among our JH students!  They will tell you lots of stories.  Please remind your child it's time to collect on pledges and return the money by Friday, Oct. 2.  Checks may be written to Zion and we will compile funds into one donation.

Field Trip Friday

Reminder that students may wear jeans or standardized dress bottoms and red Zion field trip shirts on Friday.  Pack a cold lunch for our trip!  Chaperones, please meet in homerooms at 8:50 for final instructions and to load up.  If you still have a bright orange permission slip floating around, send it back on Monday, please.

Lutheran High Geography Bee

The circuit of St. Charles Co. Lutheran schools decided to begin alternating our annual spelling bee with a geography bee.  This year it will take place on Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m.  The following students achieved the highest scores on a brief preliminary exam will represent the 6th grade:

6R: Micah H., alternate: Frankie M.
6M: Avery O. alternate: Kanin W.

Congratulations!

Photos: Kindergarten Fun

We were BLESSED TO SERVE today in Mrs. Lail's class as we helped to "dress" their life-sized body art.  You would be so proud of your kids!  They demonstrated patience, encouragement, and genuine interest.  I heard chatter about favorite sports, animals, etc. as the kids began to make a new friend!
