Hi Jillian and Taylor here,
This week we learned about the Junior High walkathon! The donations are going to Operation Christmas Child! The organization sends items in a shoe box to Children around the world who may not have gotten a Christmas present before. We are getting promises for giving donations so when we walk for each mile we raise more money to buy items for the children. Here's the link to the organization's website. Samaritan's Purse

Dedication weekend…
The New Building dedication is set for Sept. 6 and 7. This will take place during church services at 5:00pm Saturday, 8am and 10:30am on Sunday. Services will be held in the gym. (Monday service will be a regular service in the church). A ribbon cutting will take place at the end of all services. A small reception in the commons follows after these services. All rooms in all buildings will be open after services. Please plan to attend. Check out the new building and the rest of the campus too. This is a great way to see what Zion has to offer in grades Preschool - 8th grade and celebrate all of Zion’s blessings.
