We remembered our grandparents and other special friends in our lives with a wonderful message from the 7th grade class in chapel. We know that Cover to Cover - God's word can help us through all things we go through in life. Here is the link to the chapel service. Please share it with your loved ones!
6th graders also remembered our grandparents with a special Bible verse art project. Be sure to not let it stay in their bookbag.
We also ended our Nonfiction unit with a week learning about disabilities. We simulated blindness, deafness, and a variety of cognitive disabilities. Thursday Mrs. Donner's mom talked to our class about working with infants and toddlers with hearing loss. Today we wrapped up the unit by watching The Miracle Worker, Helen Keller's story. What a remarkable way God can work through what Satan intended to be evil for the good and blessing of others.
