This
week, the students have been
working hard learning about
- population data analysis and China
- ratios in math
- writing research papers, and using online web tools for research.
- perspecitve drawing
We also dove
into a new novel and how we can relate to characters in two ways:
as a MIRROR looking into our lives or as a WINDOW into an experience
we've never had. Check out the trailer for Blended by Susan Draper. It was a nominee for the Mark Twain award in 2020-21. Difficult concepts like divorce and racial tension have led to good class discussions so far.
Today marked the end of 3rd quarter. I am so proud of the students and their
hard work this year! Teachers are processing grades and report cards will be sent home on the Friday after Spring Break. I'm excited to enter this fun spring time of learning and growing in our faith together!
