What an amazing week! Students had several opportunities to be outside during the time the eclipse began as well as joining the whole school as we saw about 91% totality! It got noticably darker and cooler as the moon blocked some of the sun's rays. What an amazing universe our God has created to make this planet the perfect home for his children! It was special to share this event together.
Friday we saw Act I of the LHS play and celebrated with many Zion alumni in the cast. We were blown away by the set, costuming and especially the performances. Way to go LHS! You can see one more performance Saturday night. Your child received a free ticket to return.
Next week is our standardized testing week and our Shine Servant Event is on Friday. I will send a separate email out with servant event reminders. For this week please remember to have your child:
- get good sleep
- eat breakfast
- be to school on time
Next week also be looking for information on
- Best Choice program coming in May
- May 3 Lutheran Heritage field trip -If you have a connection to someone who lost their life in the Vietnam war, please forward their name on to me. We can locate it on the wall when we are at the MO Veteran's Memorial.
Check out LOTS of photos from our week!
