What's Happening in 6th grade
Here are a few of our current units:
Religion - We have begun our study of the New Testament with a look at the time between the testaments and Jesus' birth. This parallels our Advent preparations as we to get ready for the coming of Christ!
T Math - 3 D shapes and nets, surface area
G Math - writing expressions and order of operations
Social Studies - wrapping up our N. America unit. We completed postcards from amazing physical features that God has blessed us with to enjoy His creation!
Art - construction began on nativities. Students can take home the peg people figures to add creative touches, but most or all of the nativity will be constructed at school. Jr. High Christmas Art Display will be in the church basement on Dec. 12. Pop in before or after pickup that day.

Kids enjoyed their own invented game after regular cup stacking in PE - Angry Birds!-
- We enjoyed a little Prank on 6D. Miss Dubberke LOVES Christmas and already has decorations up, so we TUREKY'D Miss Dubberke's room at recess on Friday. Thanks, kids for helping have a little fun!
