How exciting to finally see a little snowfall! As I am typing this I am watching the white take over the lawn out back and I am reminded of a verse from Isaiah:
...Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool. Isaiah 1:18
How wonderful a reminder that all our sins have been washed away by the blood of Jesus. All God sees when He looks at us is Christ's perfection!
End of 2nd Q
Students celebrate the halfway mark of 6th grade! I am so proud of their hard work. I see growth in so many ways. Teachers are finalizing grades and report cards come home next Friday. It is a good time to sit down with your child and ask of what they are most proud. We are enjoying lessons on drama, fractions, adverbs, Asia, genetics and how the Holy Spirit works in our lives. So much learning going on!
Mrs. Donner had the students create a one word New Year's Resolution in English class. Below are the words the 6th graders chose. The kids put a lot of thought into their goals. Ask your child to show you their project. It's pretty motivating!

Book orders
I am sending the Book Order digital flyer for the month of January. Not sure if the paper flyers have been phased out, but I wanted to be sure you had a chance to see new books available. I will place orders on Sat. Jan 23 in the afternoon.
Need a Winter Fun Day? (Repeat)
