Welcome to 6th Grade!

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!  I am busy getting our classroom ready and making preparations.  It will be  great year of learning, making friends, and of course, growing in our faith walk.  I am looking forward to seeing you at Open House on Monday, Aug. 12 from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.  Our classroom is in the lower level of the Junior High building.  Stop in to greet me and be sure to visit Ms. Preusser, your other 6th grade teacher, as well.  You may drop off school supplies. **  Don't forget that yearbook photos will be taken in the commons, so be sure to wear your polo.  Enjoy the last days of summer break!

**School supplies:  We will collect dry erase markers, gluesticks, and cleaning items for class supplies.  I provide scissors, glue, rulers, and sharpies when needed, so leave yours at home.  All other items can be labled with student names.  Please email me any questions you have about the supply list.

Junior High Back to School Field Day - Zion Church (all welcome!)
Tuesday, August 13 | 3:00-7:00 pm | All 6th-8th grade

Water balloons from the roof! Ridiculous Relays and BBQ! Let's get ready for junior high to start up with good food and an outdoor field day!  Join us on August 13 from 3:00-7:00 pm as we kick off the school year.  Check in at the church lower level at 3:00 pm, followed by outdoor games, Bible study and dinner.  If you’re in 6th-8th grade, you won’t want to miss it.
