Partners in the Word

I am very excited to be starting a new school year. One of the first Bible verses your child has memorized is Duet. 6:6-7.

"These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
I am your partner in teaching your child - not only Math and Literature, but also God's Word and his plan for our lives. You are an important teacher and role model to your child. I encourage you to worship weekly with your child and take time to discuss God's Word together. Students are being offered extra credit for completing a simple worship outline of your weekend worship. I hope this helps spark good conversations in your family. Worship is a key way for the whole family to grow in faith as well as reinforce the Scripture we study at Zion. I pray that the Holy Spirit may continue to work through us to help your child build a firm foundation on Christ!
Please note: This is the last weekend for the summer worship schedule at Zion.  Beginning in September, services return to Sat. 5:00 p.m.
                                                     Sunday 8:00, 9:30, 11:00 a.m.
