Ski Day

We had a wonderful time on the slopes today.  We were blessed with a beautiful day and due to a cancellation from another school, had much of the area to ourselves.  I was proud to see kids encouraging each other and celebrating achievements together.  Kids were challenged in learning a new skill and had to work past some frustrating moments.  It was good to see them persevere!

Thanks to Mr. W, Mrs. E, Mrs. P and Mrs. K for driving and being a great encouragement to the kids.  We couldn't have done it without you!  If you took any good pictures, send them my way and I'll pass them on.

 Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart
Thursday afternoon, our class will participate in JR4H to support the American Heart Association.  Students who donate $5 will be allowed to dress down for the day in sweats.  For a $15 donation, students receive a T-shirt.

Valentine's Day
We will enjoy snacks and fellowship on Friday, Feb. 13 for our Valentine's Party.  At 6th grade, bringing Valentines for the class is optional.  If a student chooses to bring in Valentines, please include all classmates.  Respectfully, we ask for no candy to go with the Valentines.  Let the students enjoy the goodies our room parents provide.  This is also not a time for bringing gifts.  (Refer to our no gift exchange policy in the handbook on the school website) Our class list is under the Class Info tab above.
