Week 37: Field Day

We had a beautiful afternoon for field day!  After a pizza picnic lunch, kids traveled through 8 stations of games, STEM, and art to enjoy fellowship with their 1-8th grade buddies.  We returned to chapel to worship with some VBS songs and see a video of our service projects from this past year.  It's been wonderful to see the students build relationships across grade levels.  When we were just at the primary kids musical last week, the sixth graders were pointing out their buddies, waving, and celebrating the great jobs they were doing.  For years to come, kids will see each other  around school and wave or run to give a hug.  What a great model of the body of Christ - we are a family of believers here to help each other through life and celebrate together all that God does for us!
