  •      Exploring integers and percents
  •      Finishing  Tuck Everlasting Book Club discussions.  We began presenting our creative projects
  •     Tracing bodies to draw and share about the different systems (respiratory, nervous, etc)
  •     Exploring Chinese culture
  •      Celebrating Field Day!!
  •      Learning about church work vocations
  •      Writing cards for Veterans to take on our field trip next week.

 Whew!  We are still learning!!

This week was pretty basic.** It was a chill week, we didn't really change our schedule. WE have had a great year with each other and the end of the school year is coming up. ALthough, We are all very excited for summer, we will miss our classmates. We are doing softball right now in pe. In t math we had a quiz and so did G-Math
. Have a nice day! See ya!

A visit from Miss Steinbacher

We welcomed our director of Children's Ministries for 2 days to our S.S. class.  Miss Angie Steinbacher (daughter of our former  PE teacher and a Zion alum) taught in China for 6 years.  She brought her experience to our classroom with various stations and foods for us to try.  Miss S. taught in a home for orphaned kids with disabilities and then at an international school.  Our kids were encouraged to appreciate and respect people who are different from us  (even if we may not like the taste of seaweed or red bean buns!) and how God can use gifts and talents in ways we could not even imagine.   Thank you Miss S. for the great experience!  We are writing encouraging letters to send to some of her missionary contacts
