This week we did an art project about creating your own island,
you could put anything on your island. On Thursday we had a
tornado drill in the morning and at the end of the day we had a
massive study stack with 36 vocab words! We started reading
a new story called Becki and the Weel and Break Boys. We
ended Friday with a great climate social studies project. Have
a great weekend.

*A reminder: Our Zion Jr. High annual Walk-a-thon will be held next Friday, September 26, after an early lunch and the band send off! We are supporting Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School for tornado relief in the community and their growing school.

Our Zion Jr. High annual Walk-a-thon will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, supporting Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School. Bethlehem continues to live out its mission of serving Christ by serving others. In addition to supporting tornado relief efforts after the devastating May 2025 storm, Bethlehem has created a mobile meal service and food pantry to help meet immediate needs within the community. Looking toward the future, Bethlehem is also preparing to expand its microschool into a full-fledged Lutheran school in St. Louis, providing families with a Christ-centered education and hope for generations to come. This week we did some pretty fun things. We did a play on
dragon dragon for Literature, we are starting to write a story
of a moment in time in English. We also had the walkathon kick
off today which is where we learned about the walkathon. We
had a great Friday.
