Week 18: Welcome Back!

Jan 6, 2023

By Elizabeth and Korrinne

This week Wednesday was our first day back from school. We got

back from Christmas and the new year. We had chapel on Wednesday.

On Thursday we went to the gym and played dodgeball and we had to

knock down cup towers to win. On Friday we introduced our new art

project: camouflage art. The end.

WINTER COLD!!

Thanks for reminding your child to dress for the weather.  We will continue to be outside unless wind chills dip into the teens.  GLOVES would be great to remember too!

Auction Ideas

Have any inspired ideas for our class auction donation??  Let me know what YOU would bid on.  If you have any interest in helping put our "basket" together (or whatever we come up with) please let me know by Monday.  Thanks!!

*Drama in Literature - We performed a Native American folktale this week to give us a taste of reading scripts and staging.  Our new Literature unit will focus on the play The Phantom Tollbooth, based on the novel by Norton Juster.  A great read full of puns and figurative language!
