 On Tuesday and Thursday this week we had 2 people get 500,000 words in A.R., 

those people were Lily, and Nathanael.  On Tuesday we played the wacky ball 

game which was chosen by Nathanael, and on Thursday we played poor floor puppy

 which was chosen by Lily. Thursday and Friday were Haydan’s Half birthday and

 Ella's birthday. Both of them brought Oreo’s as their birthday treat. On Thursday

 we had our field trip to Breeze park Senior Living Center. We  sang Christmas

 carols and talked to the people there about their life as a kid. Thank you for 

checking the blog!     

 

 

What a joy it was to see your kids interact with the residents at Breeze Park! After the initial nervousness, they had a good time learning about the old days. Plans are in the works to go back in the spring and "get our hands dirty" working on their grounds and then play games with our new friends.

Drama Time!  The Phantom Tollbooth -  We spent the last 3 weeks in Literature focused on drama and have been studying an adaptation of Norton Juster's The Phanotm Tollbooth.  It is full of fun wordplay.  Check it out!
