Week 31 (4/11) As we enter Holy Week...

We have been on the walk to the cross in our Bible studies in Religion.  Please consider adding these worship opportunities to your family plans:

On Palm Sunday, we see Jesus declaring himself not only our King, but the promised Messiah.

On Maundy Thursday we see the remarkable transformation of the Passover into Holy Communion - Jesus himself became our saving Lamb of sacrifice.   LIVING LAST SUPPER drama at Zion's worship.

Honor the Good Friday on which Christ died for our sins and the temple veil was torn in two - the separation that sin had caused between us and our Lord is no more.

And finally the glorious day of resurrection, EASTER, when we celebrate our victory in Christ over sin, death and the devil.  There is nothing we could ever do to deserve this love.  What a wonderful opportunity we have before us to learn and grow in our faith - to praise and thank God for this glorious gift!!,

Thank you to Mr. Howard for organizing our SHINE event and for the parents who drove and got their hands dirty right along with the kids.  Your kids were amazing today!  I saw great eagerness to help and great cooperation today.  We even got creative with a little "mud ball" when we had down time.  Mr. Howard had a great project for us and provided yummy treats.  We got to meet the senior group "Garden Club" and a few snuck off to deliver our Easter cards.  We had a great servant event!  We are muddy!
