Week 35: LHS concert/chapel

Quick blog today:

**We thank Lutheran High St. Charles for their wonderful band concert on Tuesday and for leading chapel on Wednesday.  Chapel was led by Zion alum and reminded us of our many blessings

**Field Trip permission forms came home Friday for our May 11 EXTENDED DAY Lutheran Heritage field trip.  Please email me with any questions.  We could use one more parent chaperone as well.

WHAT'S HAPPENING in 6R?

Religion - A study of ascension and the great commission.  Our look at Acts will lead us into discovering witness opportunities, both individual and in the Lutheran church

Math - T math - integers and the coordinate plane
G math - Geometry and complex figures

S.S.  - Guest teacher Mrs. Carol Martin helped us decode Spanish (and gave us a taste of 7th grade) as we jump into a study of Latin America and spatial inequality

Lit - our novel unit continues with wonderful discussions led by students in Book Club groups

Art - 1 point perspective - beginning to design our own rooms

DELIVERY OF OUR WELCOME KITS

Thanks to Mrs. Walker for volunteering to deliver our Welcome Kits.  The date has been changed to THURSDAY, MAY 3 meeting at 4:30.   Volunteers, please let me know if that still works for you.
